(Please forgive the lighting - my apartment's light is...atmospheric...on the sunniest of days.)
Here is the promised corset-cardigan, Over Hill and Under Hill, a modified version of another pattern. Isn't it grand? I wear it all the time.
I've been fantasizing about making this for at least a year - something cute, fitted, woodsy and with a generous hood for when I need to hide. Of course I would change a few things, but overall I think it's just right for a 30(!)-year-old who still runs about in the forest while pretending she's from Rohan.
For those who knit and are interested in the more knitterly details, you can find them on my Ravelry project page.

Looks amazing!
Wow! Beautiful!
Its beautiful! So cozy and cute and foresty. :D
SO cute, I love it!!
how lovely! and it looks great on you -the fitting, the wool & color, the buttons and the hood...just perfect!
I'm not a knitter unfortunately (maybe if I could find a willing vi.. uh, a friend...) but I can relate to choosing clothes that would look great on me in forests! Always clothes for playing, hiding and climbing trees. And I'm 33! ;-)
Congratulations on your lovely creation!
It's gorgeous! And yes, I remember you from Rohan...
That is awesome. It suits you so well.
So gorgeous! Never apologize for that lovely lambent light!
Ooh, this is adorable! I love the shape of it and the buttons. <3 (I wish I could knit~)
I love the buttons they look stunning and the over all effect is really cool!
Lovely!!!
This is lovely! I can't knit at all, though I've always wanted to, and would like to learn some day. But in the meantime, you don't sell any of your work or doe stuff on commission do you?
oh yes, the buttons... just lovely.
p.s. i love your curls :)
Did you make that?!
Wow! Thank you everyone, I'm seriously astonished that this got so much love. ❤
To answer specific questions...
M - with knitting, commission is tricky. Unless you dream up the pattern yourself, you're not supposed to knit something from it to sell, as it's a copyright violation. I have yet to come up with any of my own patterns, so at the moment I'm afraid I can't. I would love to though, once I become more proficient.
Jarvis - Yes! I did! :)
The buttons are my favorite part! They're just too perfect.
ah! This is awesome.
Great work, I love how it reminds me of Rohan styles and LOTR fashions, but it is still modern and looks great with everyday clothes. Really nice job on the construction. (I always admire knitters...I can't knit one stich)
oh! I have a fairy costume now. :)
More styles coming soon, but it is the first of my fairy line. :) She is on my site at the moment.
Have a lovely day! Enjoy reading your blog as always.
