Rima at The Hermitage was commissioned to paint this wedding pendant for a bride-to-be. Isn't it gorgeous? I love the happy rural scene awaiting the two lovers.
It's circled round with blackberries for autumn (read her post for some fun blackberry folklore) which got me thinking of my own wedding season, spring. Wonder what fruit I would have if I commissioned my own 3" painting. Maybe tiny strawberries...

elvaundine, love your beautiful blog, it feels very homely to me *ruthie*
Isn't this a gorgeous painting? It could be the most magical of all, made even more appealing because of it being so tiny. Rima not only paints at a world class level but her tongue weaves tales with the world's best too.
She's a living fantasy.
Love your new portrait.
Ah thanks Jess for featuring this here :)
Delighted that you love it so!
Hugs from Dartmoor...
Rima
I like your blog very much!
I also love all things natural and fairy!:)
Would you mind if I put you on my blog list?
I am now your 40th follower.;)
Best wishes, Jo May.
That is beautiful. What a lucky bride! I got married in the summer, so am now thinking what could go on MINE if I were lucky enough to have one. :)
